SWAT Mobility generates your transportation routes bi-monthly after the priority 1 booking window closes.
Some factors that might affect your pick-up/drop-off timings/location:
1) Change in booking distribution
- This will challenge the vehicle capacity constraint which result in changes in routes taken
2) New pick-up/drop-off service locations
- When there are new Lonza employees booking in the system, and they are booking onto an MRT stop that was not previously served, this creates an additional pick-up/drop-off point for the current fleet to travel to. This will affect your pick-up/drop-off timing
- Furthermore, LTA is releasing more MRT stops and this will potentially create a larger pool of MRT stops to serve and could cause a change in routing
3) Variation of speeds
- We are aware that traffic on roads differ for some months due to school holidays, road closures etc, therefore there might be earlier pick-up timings during peak seasons. This is to ensure that you arrive at work on time.
SWAT Team has also consolidated learnings from the previous routes generated to ensure that you arrive to Lonza on time. The team has also tried to ensure the route sequence is as similar as the past routes but due to the factors stated above, pick-up/drop-off timings might change.
